There are events in our life that need to be marked with a celebration. A birth, a wedding, a death. Vital events that will be remembered for all of our lives.

The moment that I took my first Humanist funeral - I knew that I had found the right job! That was 17 years ago and I now work full time and am well known in the area. Many families have been kind enough to ask me to return to help them with a subsequent bereavement - even when many years separate the events. This gives me confidence that I have found the right approach to help families celebrate the lives of those they loved.

During my involvement with Humanist funerals, I have trained over 100 Officiants and addressed a number of funeral trade conferences to explain this specialised work.
